Beloved mother, sister and grandmother, Juanita M. Pineda was unexpectedly called home by our Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the age of 82. Juanita was born to Manuel and Viviana Mares on May 16, 1929, in San Antonio. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Anselmo D. Pineda Jr.; and one son, Luis Pineda. Juanita is survived by two daughters, Anna and Gilbert Cardenas, Elena Salazar; two sons, Alfredo Pineda, Armando Pineda; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
